Short answer
Report an error by email with the page URL, the passage in question, and the source that shows the correct position. Safety-critical corrections are made as a priority. Substantive corrections are noted on the page and the updated date is changed.
How to report an error
Email editor@playbright.org with:
- The page URL, so there is no ambiguity about which passage is at issue.
- The passage itself, quoted or described precisely.
- What is wrong, and what the correct position is.
- The source: the standard and section, the handbook page, the regulation, or the published data. A correction with a source can be acted on quickly. A correction without one takes longer, because it has to be researched from scratch.
What happens next
Safety-critical first. If a page gives a dimension, clearance, depth or threshold that could lead someone to build or sign off on something unsafe, that is fixed ahead of everything else.
Substantive corrections are noted. When the meaning of a page changes, the page says what was corrected and when, and its updated date moves. The point is that a reader who saw the old version can tell that it changed.
Editions and drift. Standards get revised, and a page that was accurate against one edition can be wrong against the next. That is the most common kind of correction on a site like this, and it is worth reporting even when the original page was correct when it was written.
Cost figures are ranges with a stated basis, so a correction here usually means the basis has moved rather than that the number was wrong. Those are gathered and applied when a page is next reviewed rather than immediately.

What counts as a safety-critical error?
Anything that could lead someone to build, buy, inspect or sign off on a playground incorrectly: a wrong clearance, depth, height threshold, entrapment dimension, or a requirement described as optional when it is not. These are treated as a priority over stylistic or cost-related corrections.
Will you say that a page was corrected?
For a substantive correction, yes. The page notes what was corrected and when, and its updated date changes. Typos and formatting fixes are made without a note, because a correction record that logs every comma is a correction record nobody reads.
I am a manufacturer and a page describes our product category inaccurately. What now?
Send the correction the same way, with the documentation that supports it. Pages do not name or rank brands, and a correction will not change that, but a category description that misrepresents how a product type performs is exactly the kind of error worth fixing.
